The Nature Restoration and Conservation Intern will support various Nature projects and initiatives focused on restoring and preserving biodiversity as well as increasing carbon capture. Responsibilities include assisting in ecosystem evaluations, gathering and analyzing ecological data, participating in project design, monitoring and reporting, on-site restoration activities, as well as supporting stakeholders’ engagement efforts. The candidate will also be exposed to the accreditation of our projects under various Nature or Carbon methodologies and to our forest management activities and FSC requirements for our forest in Tuscany. This is a unique position for a bright and passionate individual to be part of a dedicated team and gain experience in a pioneering approach to investments in Nature that can unlock massive financial resources for Nature in the years to come.

This is mostly a remote role, although presence in Rome is preferred and will be required from time to time.

Internship Allowance: TBD based on candidate profile/experience.

• University degree in Environmental Sciences, Ecology, Biology or similar, with clear focus on Nature restoration and conservation
• Some prior experience/knowledge of biodiversity data collection and analysis, as well as monitoring techniques
• Knowledge of carbon and biodiversity credits schemes
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Fluency in English and Italian
• Analytical thinking, inquisitive mindset and attention to detail
• Strong passion for Nature and innovation
